Ready to try making your own soap? Here is a round up of some of my favorite frugal (and fun!) homemade soap recipes to get you started!
This year I’ve been hoping to get more into soap making. I’ve done it before in the past but I’m hoping to teach myself some new techniques in the next few years.
As I was seeking out soap recipes I thought that this might be a great idea for a new blog post! So today I’m sharing with you some fun easy homemade Soap Recipes that I’ve come across recently that you might want to try!
TheseEasy Sugar Scrub Flowersare a soap in disguise. I love that they offer the exfoliating power of a sugar scrub with the added cleaning benefit of a soap! Plus these would make some really cute gifts.
ThisHomemade Lavender Soaplooks like a fun one to make if you grow your own Lavender in an herb garden. It uses a Shea Butter Soap Base so I bet it’s really moisturizing.

We’ve been making thisHomemade Foaming Hand Soap for years! It’s very inexpensive as liquid soap and when you have a little one that loves “soap bubbles” and plenty of them every time he washes his hands…having an inexpensive soap is a budget saver.
I am definitely going to make some of these DIY Gardener’s Scrub Soapfor this summer! I’ve always used a Gardener’s Hand Scrub but this convenient soap bar looks like a good option as well.
DIY Glycerin Soapwould be a fun project to work on with the little ones to introduce them to the art of soap making. Plus my little guy would love putting little dinosaurs in his soap!

ThisHomemade Bar Soap is a great simple cold press soap to try. It only uses a few basic ingredients and can be inexpensively made without using a store-bought soap base.
