Baked Ranch Pork Chops FAQ
Can you freeze pork chops with ranch?
Absolutely! Once cooled, wrap each of the ranch baked pork chops tightly in plastic and place them in a freezer bag for extra protection. Freeze for 3 to 4 months and thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
You can also keep leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Heat them in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
What is dry buttermilk powder?
It’s a shelf-stable version of the dairy ingredient, made by concentrating the liquid and drying it into a powder. It’s often found in the baking aisle near the evaporated milk.
In case you can’t find it at your local store, you can also purchase itonline. It will last for years in a cool, dry pantry.
How do you keep baked ranch pork chops from drying out?
Be sure to cover them with foil when they first go in the oven. This helps lock in the moisture before it’s time for them to brown.
You could also add a little chicken stock to the pan while it bakes, and don’t forget to let the meat rest before slicing!
What is the key to cooking a juicy boneless pork chop?
To have the best chop out there, don’t forget that you need to let this delicious dish rest a little bit before eating. This will allow the juicy center to be throughout the entire pork chop, making every bite of these boneless chops tender and delicious.
The resting period for these tender pork chops doesn’t have to be long. Even just 5 minutes is a great way to allow the juices to flow back into the chops.
While the chops are resting, using that time to get your side dish ready is a great way to pass the time. You can steam broccoli florets, make mashed potatoes, saute onions to be golden brown, cook green beans on the stovetop, or cook up any other new recipes with great flavor.
Cooking pork chops might just become your new favorite recipe for quick dinners! You’ll have the dinner table set and ready with juicy pork chops in no time at all. Happy cooking!
