The Millennium T-10 is the best tripod deer stand on the market!

At only 36 pounds, although it takes some muscle, a single person can set this tripod up alone. This makes for a great 10 foot stand for when you don’t have a tree where you want to hunt.

What you’re going to really like is that you can raise and lower the legs of the stand. Plus, the legs have rubber feet on the bottom, so you don’t have to worry about slipping.

The seat itself has a foot bar that you can use as a rest or to took your feet under. This tripod stand offers 360-degree shooting, so if you see or hear a deer on your side or back, you can silently swivel the chair to get the angle you want. This stand is pretty darn slick.

It’s lightweight, but stable, easy to set up, and gives the hunter a silent birds-eye-view shot to get that buck!

What Makes This Stand Great

  • The ComfortMAX seat swivels 360 degrees, with the footrest turning with the seat
  • Footstands on the tripod make turning and stopping the seat fluid and unobtrusive
  • Made from lightweight, sturdy aluminum
  • Non-sink, no-slip feet and large easy to climb sure-footed steps
  • Platform measures 20-inches wide and 17-inches deep

Who’s This Stand Best For?

If you’re looking for a tripod stand that you can set up by yourself, while you feel secure in the seat (a comfortable seat non the less), check out Millennium’s T-100 right here.

This Landmark Blind Tower is the best tripod deer stand for the money.

This stand has both advantages and disadvantages, but it’s the perfect fit for the right hunter. The advantages are that it’s extremely well designed and will be the most sturdy hunting tower you’ll find. Another great aspect of this tower is that you can comfortably fit multiple hunters in this stand at the same time.

Disadvantages to this tower include that once it’s set up, it takes a lot of time and energy to disassemble it in case you’d like to transport it.

For these reasons the Landmark Blind Tower is both the best 2-man tripod deer stand and also the best heavy duty tripod deer stand.

What Makes This Stand Great

  • The Tower features a large entry platform and conveniently placed handrails on both the entry platform and ladder ensuring easy and safe entry and exit
  • Large steel tubing and cross-bracing combine to give this tower incredible strength and stability
  • Treaded ladder rungs provide extra gripping power to help prevent slipping when climbing in inclement weather
  • Leg stakes and an anchor system are included to ensure that your tower is locked into place exactly where you want it

Who’s This Stand Best For?

If you’ve got your hunting spot down and want a secure tower to build your elevated shot, grab this tower, and makes sure to add the hunting blind too!

BowScanner's Review:

5/5

Looking to get an elevated shot, but have no tree around to strap up to? This hunting stands offers a 360-degree shot from any place with flat ground.

I’ve heard this works well with people now only who don’t have great trees to climb, but also people who simply don’t feel comfortable going high up.

The surprisingly delightful part about this stand is that it’s actually easy to carry. The frame collapses, and you simply fold it out and place it where you want when you have your spot. At only 66 pounds, this is no lightweight stand, but it’s actually light enough to carry for one person for a short distance.

What Makes This Stand Great

  • 360 Degree tree-stand vantage point…without the tree
  • Collapsible frame that’s easy to carry
  • 3″ x 4″ footpads at the base of each leg accommodate ground anchors to add additional stability and prevent sinking into soft ground

For those hunters who don’t want to get into a tree, or don’t have a good tree to climb, this Guide Gear offers a 360-degree shooting tripod tree stand as a solution!

People also asked

What is the best tripod deer stand?

The best tripod deer stand on the market is the Millennium T-100 Tripod, 10 ft.

What makes a tripod deer stand great for deer hunting?

Tripod deer stands are best for the hunters who live in conditions where there aren’t good trees to climb, or if you simply prefer a tripod over a tree stand.

The advantage of hunting with an elevated height is that the deer have a harder time to see the hunter, and also the hunter has the opportunity to lay feed or scent at a good place for the hunter to have a proper shot.

Hunting from elevation has been used for many years, but now with the tripod stands, hunters can set up where they please. It’s a huge advantage to your hunting experience.

What Size of Tripod stand do you need?

The average height of a tripod stand is 10 feet tall. Both the Millennium T-100 and Landmark Blind Tower are both 10 feet tall, and the Guide Gear tripod gives you an additional 2 feet, for total of 12 feet high.

10 feet high is the standard for a tripod stand.

What aspects should I consider before buying a tripod deer stand?

Safety: While hunting from elevation, safety is always the first concern. Make sure that the tripod is stable, and that the base, or feet, of the stand are level to the ground. What I always recommend to someone using a tripod deer stand is to use straps and even sandbags to ensure the stability of the stand.

Weight: Both your weight and the weight capacity of the tripod should be taken into consideration. Each tripod deer stand has a maximum capacity that it can hold, and you don’t want the test of its capacity to be while you’re 10 high using the stand.

Price: As you can see from the above mentioned tripod deer stands, the price greatly fluctuates between products. Know how much you can afford, and think about how many times you’ll use the stand. Go with the price that makes most sense for you.

Mobility: Mobility is a key factor when deciding which tripod deer stand to use. If you’re the kind of hunter who like to be mobile and enjoys hunting in different places, get a stand that you can move without much problem.

1-man or 2-man: Do you often hunt with another person, or are you more of a lone ranger kind of hunter? The 1-man tripod stands are great spaces to experience the outdoors in a quiet atmosphere. However, I always have a great time with my buddies when we go out together. In order to have options, a lot of hunters will get both a 1-man job for when they’re going out alone, and also a 2-man stand for when you’re going out with a buddy.

Noise: Hunters know the importance of noise when you’re out in the field and going for a hunt. Can you imagine if you saw a buck from the corner of your eye, so you moved your swivel chair to see it and a loud squeak came out? That would be the worst. For this reason, while I was researching the best tripod deer stand for this review, I made darn sure that the above mentioned stands with swivel chairs are completely silent!

How much do tripod stands weigh?

Depending on the functionality of the stand, the weights of these tripod deer stands range from a mere 36 pounds to nearly a whopping 300 pounds – and that doesn’t even include the hunting blind! This is why checking out your options with the list from above is such a smart move.

What is the best material: Aluminum or Steel?

The aluminum vs. steel debate has been going on for ages. Of course steel is stronger and tends to last longer, but aluminum has taken off in popularity due to the ease of carrying the metal.

The answer to which is best for you depends on the purpose you’re hunting. If mobility is a critical factor for you, definitely go with an aluminum frame, and if stability is your game, go with steel.

Are Tripod deer stands safe?

There is a real danger when using stands and hunting high up. It is very important to double check that you’ve set up the stand properly before using it. That being said, tripod deer stand technology has come a long way, and as long as you put the structure together properly, yes, you should be safe.

How to Hide a Tripod Deer Stand?

The best way to hide a tripod deer stand is to find netting, mesh, and burlap and even fake vines to cover up the stand and make it look like it’s the brush. Then, stick the stand near the tallest tree or brush that’s around

How to anchor a tripod deer stand?

The absolute best way to anchor a tripod deer stand is to use the Auger digger and firmly put stakes in the ground. This way you’ll never have to worry about your stand flipping over, especially if it gets windy.
