If you want to start progressing into mining then get a Pickonimbus 2000 when you have more money. It may seem like a lot of money for now but it's actually incredibly cheap and good in the grand scheme of things because of its stats. Keep using it even after you've gone into the Dwarven mines and crystal hollows.

The Diamond Pickaxe is the best pickaxe to get if you want to mine ores. Enchant it with Efficiency V and Fortune III. The Gold Pickaxe is better than the Diamond variant at mining Stone or Cobblestone. An Efficiency 5 Gold Pick combined with Haste 3 potions is enough to instantly mine through Cobblestone.

While you can craft pickaxes of variable durability and strength using many kinds of materials, your best option will always be to strive for a Diamond Pickaxe (to easily get obsidian and continue your adventures in the Nether), and eventually a Netherite Pickaxe.

The ultimate melee weapon is the Valkyrie, with its unmatched ❁ Damage, ❁ Strength and ⫽ Ferocity. It is also by far the most costly, at 1,100,000,000 coins for a basic one and a further 180,000,000 coins for Wither Impact.
